Due to the on-going impact of COVID-19, AGD has decided to virtualize the Annual Meeting scheduled to take place October 23-25, 2020 at McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois. Consulting CDC guidelines and Illinois state regulations, the AGD’s Board concluded that the meeting could not take place in-person. This was a very difficult decision, but the health and safety of AGD’s delegates, dignitaries, and staff is most paramount.

Yes, registration is free, but mandatory. Now more than ever, it is essential that all those who plan to attend the Virtual Annual Meeting, register. While the meeting will not be taking place in person this year, there will be an alternative virtual program requiring log in information, Zoom meeting links, voting permissions, and training sessions. To register, visit the Annual Meeting webpage: https://www.agd.org/about-us/leadership-governance/agd-annual-meeting and log in with your AGD membership credentials.

Registration will close on Wednesday, October 14 at 12:00am CDT.

Constituent President or Regional Director must submit any changes to  delegate/alternate designation by emailing delegates@agd.org by 7:00 pm CDT on the evening before the next day’s session.

No, all registration must be processed by the registration deadline to ensure all delegates, guests, and dignitaries have the correct log in and voting permissions.

All Caucuses will take place on Saturday, October 24th at any time from 11:45am-5:00pm via Zoom Meetings. You will receive a link to your specific Caucus meeting in the meeting hub under the My Agenda section. Candidates, if invited, will join the Zoom calls at a predetermined meeting time.

Please contact your Regional Director or Caucus leader for more information regarding exact times and agendas for these meetings.

All registrants who booked housing via the AGD’s room block at the Hyatt Regency McCormick, have had their reservations automatically cancelled by the Hyatt’s reservation team.

Registrants that booked housing outside the block or via a 3rd party must cancel their reservations on their own.

Once registered, you will receive an email confirmation with a link to the Annual Meeting hub. From there, access the My Agenda tab for a list of Zoom links for each session. Please be sure to participate in one of four training sessions being offered on Zoom and the Annual Meeting hub so that you can join the meeting with confidence on Friday, October 23.

All House of Delegates sessions will be in webinar format meaning that individual delegate’s video will not be shown and all participants will be automatically muted upon entering the session. For Caucus meeting etiquette, please consult your Caucus leader.

At this year’s meeting we will be using a secure browser-based web polling tool called VVoter to coduct all voting activities and queue participants who need to speak or ask questions during the House of Delegates.
